Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft)
Description: Arrive in Kathmandu, where you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day exploring Kathmandu’s cultural and historic landmarks or resting after your journey. Attend a trek briefing in the evening to finalize preparations.
Highlights: Visit famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Pashupatinath.
Day 2 :
Fly to Lukla (2,860 m / 9,383 ft) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m / 8,562 ft)
Trek Duration: 3-4 hours
Description: Take an early morning flight to Lukla, known for its spectacular views of the Himalayas. After landing, start your trek with a gentle walk through the Dudh Koshi Valley to Phakding, passing through traditional Sherpa villages.
Highlights: Scenic flight, first day of trekking with beautiful river and mountain views.
Day 3 :
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m / 11,286 ft)
Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
Description: Follow the trail through pine forests, crossing several suspension bridges. The last part of the trail involves a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa capital with markets, cafes, and stunning mountain vistas.
Highlights: First views of Everest, vibrant Sherpa culture, lively Namche Bazaar.
Day 4 :
Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar with Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880 m / 12,730 ft)
Description: Spend the day acclimatizing with a short hike to the Everest View Hotel, where you’ll get stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other surrounding peaks. Return to Namche to explore the village, visit the Sherpa Museum, or relax in a café.
Highlights: Acclimatization hike, stunning mountain panoramas, Sherpa cultural experiences.
Day 5 :
Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860 m / 12,664 ft)
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
Description: Trek through forests of rhododendron, magnolia, and pine, enjoying views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam along the way. The trail descends to the Dudh Koshi River before a final steep ascent to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery.
Highlights: Tengboche Monastery, panoramic views of Everest and Ama Dablam.
Day 6 :
Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 m / 14,469 ft)
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
Description: Continue trekking through the Imja Valley, with the trail gradually climbing to Dingboche. As you gain altitude, the landscapes become more rugged, with stunning views of Ama Dablam and the surrounding peaks.
Highlights: Expansive views of Ama Dablam, island peaks, and the Imja Valley.
Day 7 :
Acclimatization Day in Dingboche with Optional Hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100 m / 16,732 ft)
Description: Spend the day acclimatizing in Dingboche. An optional hike to Nagarjun Hill provides stunning views of Makalu, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. The afternoon is free to explore the village and relax.

Day 8 :
Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung (4,730 m / 15,518 ft)
Trek Duration: 3-4 hours
Description: A short and gradual trek leads to the small settlement of Chhukung. The trail is relatively easy, allowing time to rest and acclimatize before the challenging crossing of Kongma La Pass.
Highlights: Stunning views of Island Peak, Imja Valley, and the Amphu Laptsa pass.
Day 9 :
Trek from Chhukung to Lobuche (4,940 m / 16,207 ft) via Kongma La Pass (5,535 m / 18,159 ft)
Trek Duration: 7-8 hours
Description: Today is the most challenging day of the trek as you cross the Kongma La Pass. Start early to avoid high winds and make the steep climb to the pass, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of Everest, Makalu, and Lhotse. After crossing the pass, descend to the Khumbu Glacier and trek onwards to Lobuche.

Day 10 :
Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,164 m / 16,942 ft) and Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364 m / 17,598 ft)
Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
Description: Trek along the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to reach Gorak Shep. After a short rest, continue to Everest Base Camp, the ultimate goal of many trekkers. Return to Gorak Shep for the night.
Highlights: Reaching Everest Base Camp, views of the Khumbu Icefall, close-up experience of the high-altitude mountaineering environment.
Day 11 :
Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 m / 18,192 ft) and Trek to Pheriche (4,280 m / 14,042 ft)
Trek Duration: 7-8 hours
Description: Start early for the ascent of Kala Patthar, known for offering the best sunrise views of Everest and the surrounding peaks. After soaking in the incredible views, descend back to Gorak Shep and continue down to Pheriche.
Highlights: Best panoramic views of Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse from Kala Patthar, descent to lower altitude.
Day 12 :
Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
Description: Continue your descent through the beautiful valley, passing Pangboche and Tengboche. The trail undulates, providing opportunities to see wildlife and enjoy the scenery before arriving back in Namche Bazaar.
Highlights: Return to vibrant Namche, revisiting cultural and natural sights.
Day 13 :
Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
Description: The final day of trekking retraces your route back to Lukla. It’s a rewarding walk as you pass familiar sights and reflect on the journey. Celebrate your achievement with your trekking team in Lukla.
Highlights: Final trekking day, enjoy the lively atmosphere of Lukla.
Day 14 :
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Description: Take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you can relax, explore the city, or enjoy some final shopping before departure.
Highlights: Scenic flight back to Kathmandu, time to relax and reflect on your trekking adventure.
