Itinerary
Description: Arrive in Kathmandu, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel, preparing for the trek, or relaxing after your flight. In the evening, attend a pre-trek briefing to go over the itinerary and necessary preparations.
Highlights: Explore Kathmandu’s historic sites, such as Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple.
Trek Duration: 3-4 hours
Description: Start with an early morning flight to Lukla, one of the world’s most scenic and thrilling flights. After landing, begin your trek with a gentle descent to Phakding, following the Dudh Koshi River and passing through pine forests and traditional villages.
Highlights: Scenic flight to Lukla, first experience of trekking in the Himalayas.
Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
Description: The trail continues through forests and along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges. A steep ascent brings you to Namche Bazaar, the main trading hub and acclimatization point in the Khumbu region.
Highlights: First views of Everest and Lhotse, bustling markets, and local culture in Namche.
Description: Spend the day acclimatizing with a hike to the Everest View Hotel, which offers panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan peaks. You can also visit the Sherpa Culture Museum or explore Namche’s markets and cafes.

Trek Duration: 3-4 hours
Description: A short trek to Khumjung, a picturesque Sherpa village known for its traditional houses, ancient monastery, and the Hillary School. This day is designed for additional acclimatization.
